This July, the Fare Om Educational Center in Moorea had the pleasure of hosting families from Berkeley, California, for a two-week immersive educational adventure. From July 14 to July 27, 2024, the families experienced a perfect blend of French language learning, cultural enrichment, and natural exploration. Day 9: Tiki Park Adventure
The morning began with French lessons, followed by an adventurous afternoon at the Tiki Park, where we enjoyed a thrilling zip rope challenge. This exciting activity tested their agility and courage. The day ended with a cozy dinner back at Fare Om, where we shared our experiences and reflections.
Day 10: Weaving Workshop
After morning French lessons, the afternoon featured a cultural workshop led by Adeline, where families learned to weave coconut leaves into plates. This hands-on activity provided a deeper appreciation of traditional Polynesian crafts and the resourcefulness of local artisans.
